10oz Dual Cone Speaker Assembly/ 5 Watt Transformer (70.7/25V)
The speaker used in the SD72 is the next generation of Atlas high performancecone loudspeakers, very similar to the precedingC-Series speakers. Similarity in sonic qualities ensures that contractors and designers who have worked with the Atlas SoundC-Series in the past will know exactly what to expect when they use theSD72.
ModelSD72 is a dual cone, 25 watt 8" (205mm) loudspeakerwith a 10oz. (260g) ceramic magnet. It includes a curvilinear, treatedpaper cone for lower harmonic distortion. The loudspeaker is alsoequipped with a full 1" diameter copper voice coil with a blackanodized aluminum former for better power dissipation.
ModelSD72 operates within a frequency response range of 45Hz to 19kHz(nominal) with a sensitivity of 97dB and a dispersion angle of 105ÃÃÃÃÃÃð.Package includes factory installed 25/70.7V line matching transformerwith tap selectionsranging from .25 to 5 watts.
The unit mounts a wide varietyof Atlas Sound round and square baffles and enclosures to meetfunctional and aesthetic application requirements
