8" Q Series 1 Cubic ft Cylindrical Enclosure with Undercoating
Model Q408 is a welded steel protective enclosure having a volumeof 1 cu. ft. (.028m3).
The interior is undercoated to eliminate metallic resonanceand is furnished with 1 1/2" (38mm) thick fiberglass with a 1 1/2 lb./cu. ft. density.
The large volume of this enclosure improves the low frequency response ofthe system while the fiberglass controls undesirable resonances in the high endof the frequency spectrum.
This cylindrical enclosure incorporates a plaster flange and has provisions for mounting avariety of architecturally pleasing Atlas Sound grilles.
Enclosure isdesigned for use with standard 8" (203mm) loudspeakers.
