Altronix HubWay8Di Passive UTP Transceiver Hub w/Integral IsolatedCamera Power transmits UTP video,RS422/RS485 data and power over a single CAT-5 or higher structuredcable. Unit provides 8 camera channels in aspace saving 1U EIA 19 rack mount chassis which may be rack, wall orshelf mounted. Video transmission range is up to 750 ft. max. perchannel. Units are compatible with AC and/or DC fixed or PTZ cameraswhen utilizing AltronixHubWayAv or HubWayDv Video Balun/Combiners. In addition, the unitfeatures individually selectable 24VAC or 28VAC electronically isolatedPTC protected outputs with surge suppression. An optional HubSat4i/4DiPassive UTP TransceiverHub with Integral Isolated Camera Power can be used as an accessorymodule to transmit video from up to 4 cameras over a single CAT-5 orhigher structured cable back to the HubWay8Di. In addition, theHubSat4D provides power to thesecameras locally to eliminate the possibility of voltage drop associatedwith long cable runs.
