Vandal Proof Recessed Backbox for VPVT Series Stations
VPVT-PBSeries vandal proof loudspeaker station withstand damage caused fromabuse, moisture, corrosion, dust, vibration and temperature extremesfrom 150ÃÃÃÃÃÃð to -30ÃÃÃÃÃÃðF. Station is available in 15 watt model with 12 gaugestainless steel plate mounted to the high efficiency VT Seriescompression driver. Patented 8 ohm driver with water-sealed die castzinc housing and exponential sound projector is recognized fordependable performance and high intelligibility voice and signaltransmission. Driver functions as a loudspeaker and a microphone forhands-free remote station communication with a centrally located mastercontrol. VPVT-PB Series incorporates a vandal proof call switch with 3amp contact rating for call-in signaling capability. Call switch is aheavy duty, momentary action push button flush mounted for security anddurability. Station assemblies install with tamperproof, button-headbreakaway screws to a recess mounting enclosure (order separately).VPVT-PB is 71/4"SQ (184mm) and mount to enclosure Model VP-77 size51/2"W x 61/4"H x 31/2"D (159 x 140 x 90mm). The enclosure is 16 gaugeCRS with a rust preventive coating.
VPB-1A is a vandal resistantpush switch intercom accessory mounted to a single gang size 12-gaugestainless steel plate. Utilize assembly in conjunction with VPVT andVPCS stations
or as a stand alone signaling device when aseparate or remotely located call origination button is desired. Switchis a SPST normally open circuit with 3 amp contact rating. Vandal proofhardware installs using a 632 holt-head driver bit for a standard 1/4"nut driver.
